Hi,
My name is Tom and I can build you a Custom Cargo Bike. Check out the ones pictured on the IMAGES page.
These bikes are low buck, very basic and made from mostly recycled materials. I have three basic models: "Flatbed" , "Sleigh", or "Over the Wheel". Check 'em out on the MODELS page. These can be customized to meet your needs. Wider, longer, taller - it's up to you.
Here's the plan you provide an old steel frame, a little money and some ideas. Then I build your vision onto the frame and within a couple of weeks you're riding away on a Custom Cargo Bike.
My theory is, you provide the bike, that way you will be happy with the final ride. If I pick the bike, then you gotta settle for what I provide. Everybodys different, and since this is a custom build why not start with the frame of your choice? (Besides, saves me the time and trouble of scrounging up a donor bike.)
The price starts out at $400 to $500 for a basic model, that's if you provide the frame. If not, I will have to add in the cost of the bike and something for my time.
My bikes are sturdy, inexpensive and have a certain "hillbilly" charm in their design and construction. With the extra added bonus that the final product is designed by you. If you are looking for European styling and high end components, I'm not your guy. If you are looking for an affordable cargo bike and don't care what the neighbors think , then I am your guy.
